THE WHISTLER TATTOO COMPANY
234 - 4370 Lorimer Rd
Whistler, British Columbia
Whistler Tattoo Company was founded by local tattooer Kelsey Bareham, on the premise that all tattoos are important and each client deserves our very best. We know that a little piece can mean as much as a large one and put the effort in to make sure they are all just right. We appreciate the commitment that our clients make when they step through our doors whether for one session or multiple. We understand that tattooing is both a form of memento, catharsis or healing for many and we are grateful to honour your memories, achievements and process. We look forward to helping you realize your vision in ink.
Our shop's convenient location on the second floor of the Marketplace Professional Building is easy to find and easy to get to with elevator access and lots of parking available. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Kelsey has deep roots in the mountains, forests and waters of the Sea to Sky corridor. Kelsey's grandfather, Stefan Ples, was one of the pioneers of the original Garibaldi Lift Company and a founding member of the Tyrol Ski Club. Kelsey grew up in the Pemberton Valley, only leaving the area to travel to Europe and to learn her trade in Vancouver.
Kelsey has been tattooing for over a decade and enjoys all types of projects, big and small. She particularly relishes fine detail work and anything involving nature.
She has been driven to create art all her life, and is also the author/illustrator of a local children's book, "Wally Learns to Ski."
Here is a short interview with Kelsey's grandfather and a fun look back at an exciting period in Whistler's history.
Ryan is a "Jack of All Trades" and is mastering the art of tattooing. He always had a pencil and paper within reach. Drawing, painting and creating art are Ryan's passion. As a child he could be found late in the evening fast asleep at the kitchen table pencil in hand, face down and drooling on the paper. Growing up in the east coast, small-town mentality and lack of confidence in his art had him chasing other dreams; like welding, working in action sports retail, and even learning and teaching flying.
A desire to be creative stoked a fire in Ryan's heart a little later than most. He started to apprentice as a blacksmith in the east coast in 2012, but a move to the big smoke happened in 2013. Shortly before leaving for Toronto a good friend purchased Ryan a tattoo starter kit and encouraged Ryan to follow his dream of becoming a tattoo artist. He started tattooing himself and the rest is history.
Now after only a few years of apprenticing he's now rocking a full-time gig putting ink on skin and smiles on faces. Ryan is personable, friendly and a great listener. He will do his best to make your tattoo dream a reality. Ryan enjoys working with colour leaning towards new school, old school and American Traditional styles, however, he is more than happy to do just about anything a client desires.
Whistler Tattoo Company is looking forward to hosting guest tattooers from all over the world. If you are interested in a guest spot then we would like to hear from you.
Originally from the farmlands of the Fraser Valley, Audrey May was either off wandering without gumboots or tucked quietly in her room exploring a magical land with a pencil in hand. Childhood saw her befriend goats, llamas, chickens, horses, cows, cats, and dogs; which meant they quickly became her favourite subjects to draw. Currently, her small furry tribe consists of two cats, a dog, a horse, and one very opinionated rabbit, Audrey loves creating spirit animals or guardian animals. Animals have always been her retreat to a simpler world guided by intuition and instinct. She enjoys exploring surreal concepts and fantastic mythologies by merging fine art with illustration to formulate natural designs with wisps of magic. The goal of her spell is to empower the ones who come through her life and to inspire the creativity in us all.
Audrey May started her apprenticeship under Dave Baran of Method in Pemberton. She is so excited to continue with the next phase of her journey with Kelsey’s guidance and a little help from the rest Whistler Tattoo Company family. We have great expectations and are all so excited to see what is to come.
